GOLDEN VISA

How can I get the GOLDEN VISA?
- The Golden Visa is a Spanish residence permit, addressed to those foreigners who are interested in entering Spanish territory in order to make asignificant investment of capital, with work permit included, which does not require a minimum annual stay.

What requirements do I need to obtain it?
- Residence permit through the acquisition of 2 million euros of public debt.
- Residence permit through the acquisition of one million euros in shares or stocks, or bank deposits in financial institutions.
- Residence permit through the purchase of real estate worth 500,000 € free of all encumbrances.
- Residence permit through a business project.

How much does it cost to process?
- There will be transaction costs associated with the acquisition or investment. Some of the expenses, depending on one’s situation, are:
  - ITP (Property Transfer Tax): 6% in Madrid.
  - IAJD (Impuesto de Actos Jurídicos Documentados): 0% – 2.5%, depending on the type of property.
  - REGISTRY, NOTARY AND OTHER: Approximately 2-3% of the purchase price.
